Care Instructions Tips:
Natural hardwood worktops come with many benefits - not least a luxurious look and durable properties. With basic care & maintenance, your worktop will last a lifetime and beyond. Maintenance simply means a refresh of the protective oil coating every now and then. You’ll know it’s time to re-oil when the existing oil dries out. If a drop of water sits on the work surface, the oil level is fine. If it sinks in, it’s time for another coat. You should also always use a worktop saver for hot cookware and avoid chopping directly on the surface..

about the worktop
Beech worktops is one of the bestselling solid wood worktops. It is known for its freckled grain pattern and light golden hues, which are giving a very unique appearance to the worktop. Its natural beautiful light colours, coupled with its ability to get easily stained in various colours, are just one of the few characteristics that make this worktop to be an excellent choice. Beech worktop is also very well known for its durable and relative inexpensive nature. Beech worktop has excellent oil absorption characteristics, where the applied oil quickly penetrates down the pores of the worktop, which makes the oiling process slightly quicker compared to other wood species. To get a more extensive information regarding Beech worktops, please check out our Blog.
Origin of Beech: Beech is among the most commonly found hardwood specie in the European woodlands. Typically it is found along mountainous regions, where the tree naturally develops extreme stress resistant levels to cope with its difficult growing conditions in its natural habitat along with the harsh weather conditions, with very hot and dry summers, and very cold winters. The durability and strength of the Beech tree is a true reflection of its stressful growing conditions, where the harsh weather and stressful growing conditions hardens the fibres of the beech wood over time. Considering all of the Beech tree, it is not a coincidence that it is the number one competitor of Oak Worktops.
Why House of Worktops? House of Worktops is the truly End-to-End worktop direct supplier, where the process starts right from the Beech hardwood forests, exclusively harvesting top quality raw materials. The hand selected hardwood logs are then transferred to the factory, where the beech timber is sawn and kiln dried. The material is then hand sorted, to make sure beech worktops are produced only from the highest quality raw materials. Once produced, products are shipped straight to our warehouse. After a final quality inspection, the worktops directly are delivered to a room of choice by our internal 2-Man delivery team.
